Records show this R80 GS was built August 1986 but is registered 1988. One of the last bikes to come from the factory as production ceased in 1987 this edition is fitted with a Paris-Dakar ‘Gaston Rahier’ fuel tank, and was the former property of a Swiss Police officer before going to Belgium and then to the UK two years ago. Now registered in England it has seen little use in the last year. The general condition of the bike is very good, starts easily and runs well, the exhaust system which is prone to rust is in very good order. Showing 93,700 km (58,000 miles) the bike is supplied with an MoT until May 2018. SOLD.
