1936 Brough Superior SS80

  • DESCRIPTION

    Supplied new to R.Olie & Co, Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk this rigid framed SS80 was originally attached to a Watsonian side car. Records the first owner as a Mr Rodney Manners of Cirencester 30th May 1936. The early history of the bike in not known however a substantial file with the bike shows it was known to the UK Brough Club in the early 1980’s and restored by by Tony Cripps / Superior Restorations in the 1990’s.

    A well maintained bike it has had further restoration work and now remains in very good overall condition and in excellent running order. A matching number example, retaining it’s original registration number it is supplied with a copy of the factory record card and an original buff logbook dating back to 1946 as well as much correspondence between previous owners and notes on running tips, technical information and maintenance work.

    A very original and well presentable example.
