Just completed to ‘show’ standard this Spitfire replica has a completely rebuilt engine fitted with 8:1 pistons, a Spitfire 357 cam and an ‘end fed’ crank conversion. It was rebuilt with all new valves, springs and guides to unleaded and has a reconditioned STD gearbox and new clutch modified for easy use. The bike has stainless fasteners and all new wiring and a rebuilt mag, in fact it has virtually all new parts where required, including a genuine BSA Spitfire fuel tank.
Having only covered 100 miles since completion it is in ‘as new’ condition and is quite the finest example of this kind of bike we have seen for some time. It is supplied with the registration number MVS 302, UK registration documents and an MoT until July 2014.
