This ‘round case’ 750 cc Ducati special was originally registered in Spain for many years before being part of a collection in Italy. Close inspection has revealed that it has some of the hallmarks of being an ex race bike, probably at club level like so many bikes of the early 1970’s. The frame appears to be circa 1971 while the modified engine is 1973. Nevertheless it makes an interesting combination of a very fine looking bike. Having been imported to the UK in 2015 it has undergone some minor restoration work, the electronics re wired, new battery fitted and the 40mm Dellorto carbs overhauled and new chokes fitted. In addition the bike has received new exhausts, a full service and the fuel tank has recently been ethanol proofed.
Now UK registered as EWV 311L, dated to 1973 the bike is supplied with a Ducati dating certificate, UK V5C and an MoT until Nov. 2016. In generally very fine order and in great running condition this very handsome bike sounds and goes great, showing 4,675 km it is good to go ! SOLD
