Registered 30th Jan 1981 this UK spec bike was one of the last original 900SS Ducati’s produced. FInished in the later black/gold livery it has had five former keepers although we gather that the bike had had a former keeper for some 20 years before changing hands twice in 2012. Unfortunately during this time the service history and books were lost, a great tragedy as it had been well maintained. Fitted with the correct 40mm Dellorto carburettors the engine is very sweet, no smoke, no horrid noises and loads of power in fact the bike runs and rides beautifully. It has stainless replacement exhaust silencers fitted. Cosmetically the bike could do with a little tidying up, the fuel tank is good with no dents however the rest of the body work is showing signs of age. The frame and swing arm are corrosion free and the powder coat is still good, generally the bike is nice but it looks to be in largely original condition. A fine unmolested example, mechanically very sound the bike is in ride now condition, or for light restoration. Showing 46,600 miles it is a matching number bike and is supplied with a UK V5C registration document and MoT until April 2014.
