‘032’ of the limited edition number of 202 bikes produced this example was purchased new from Bill Head Ducati in Southgate, Preston Lancs. and registered 1st August 1998. With three previous owners it was purchased in 2006 by the last owner and put in to storage with a small collection of other bikes. Having only covered a genuine 4,400 miles it remains in absolutely fantastic and unmarked condition. It is supplied with a large history file containing the original sales invoice plus all the service receipts, all the factory handbooks and service book, sales literature, both keys, paddock stand and cover. It also has the limited edition ‘032’ key ring and the official aluminium authenticity plague in its correct case, which is also signed in the inside by Foggy !
The 916 was certainly the most iconic motorcycle produced in the last 30 years, its design influenced virtually every sports bike produced as manufacturers scrambled to emulate it. This would have probably been enough but for the fact that in race trim it took Carl Fogarty for Four WSB championships.
