Registered 1979 this 750 cc Cafe Racer is built up from a 1977 Tiger frame and a 1979 T140 E Bonneville engine. It was the subject of much restoration work in 2011 which included new wheels, brake discs, rebuilding of the brake calipers and new braided brake lines. The frame, swing arm and engine cases were powder coated and the alloy long range fuel tank fitted. It was also fitted with rear sets and clip on handle bars to Cafe Racer style. Showing 10,700 miles the bike remains is excellent all round condition, the engine is fed through twin Mikuni carbs with a Boyer electronic ignition and is very sweet running, it has loads power, no smoke and sound glorious through the twin pipes.
Generally this is a very nice bike that rides very well with lots of potential, it is supplied with sundry invoices relating to the recent work, the UK V5C logbook and an MoT until June 2015. It also has the added benefit of right foot rear braking and left foot gear change for those not used to older British bikes.
