Registered 22nd Sept 1960 this genuine 650cc Trophy has received recent restoration work. The engine has had a top end rebuild, and the bike has been fitted with new rims and tires. The body work and frame were repainted a few years ago and still remain in good order with no marks or dents to the fuel tank. In generally very good cosmetic condition and in excellent running order the bike has twin high level exhaust pipes and original fitment Amal mono bloc carburettor. It comes with bills for the recent engine work, a UK V5C logbook and and a MoT until March 2014. The Triumph Duplex frame was introduced in 1960 and was only in production until 1963 when production returned to the single down tube type, as such Duplex examples such as this are reasonably rare, this example being Sept. ’60 is in fact the ’61 model and also benefits from the strengthened head stock introduced for the 1961 model.
