This rally spec Austin 1800 was imported from Australia in 2007 where it had been used several CAMS ( Confederation of Australian Motor Sport ) events, and comes with a CAMS rally logbook. It was prepared for the re running of London to Sydney Rally but never took part. The Landcrab Owners Club International have confirmed that the car is a correct MK1 that was exported CKD and assembled in Australia before production of the cars started there in 1965.
In 2008 it took part in the Goodwood Festival of Speed on the rally track but since then has had little use, it remains in excellent order both mechanically and cosmetically would make a great entry to any future Historic / Classic rally events. It is fully road legal and comes with a UK V5C logbook and current MoT until Jan. 2014, as well as a dating cert. from the Landcrab Club.
