The Benelli Sei was the World’s first 6 cylinder motorcycle coming into production in 1974 a full 4 years before the Honda CBX. Masterminded by racing driver and sports car manufacturer Alejandro de Tomaso the design of the Sei was based on Honda’s CB500. Aprox. 3200 of the 750cc model were produced until the introduction of the 900cc in 1979.

This series II example was one of the last batch produced between 1978 and ’79 although the date of first registration is 14th Feb. 1980. A UK supplied model it was restored in 2015/16 which included an engine rebuild by Moto Corsa, with further felting carried out by Motori di Marino.

The 750 Sei remains one of the rarest and most collectable 1970’s produced motorcycles, it’s Italian heritage giving it typical flare, the exhaust note alone is to die for ! A really fine example that is excellent overall condition and in truly great running order the bike is supplied with a good history file with bills for the engine rebuild and a copy of a workshop manual. Good examples do not come to the market often.
