Delivered new in Belgium 29th May 1973 this R75 was brought to the UK in 2016 and re registered. Having been in long term storage the bike has recently been re commissioned for the road which has included a full service, new battery, carb clean and balance and fresh gearbox oil.
Showing 97,371 kms the bike is in good working order and rides well. By the time production of the R/5 series ended in 1973 BMW had produced some 68,956 examples. It is in fact a testament to how well built these bikes are that so many of them survive today.
This appears to be an unrestored and remarkably original bike, and although obviously showing signs of age is still in very nice overall condition.
