This is one of the original BMW R80 Street Scrambler’s built by ‘Down and Out’ Customs for the Bike Shed’s founder Dutch. Having removed the stock rear sub frame a new unit was designed and fabricated, this was the basis of the kits that are now offered by them to ‘build your own’ Scrambler type R80. The bike still features on the Down and Out web site and was subsequently sold by the Bike Shed in 2014.
Serviced by us a year later it has not seen much use and remains in very good overall condition, the gold / white fuel tank is unmarked and the bike runs and rides great. The engine had been previously re built and appears to have only covered about 2,000 miles since. Supplied with an MoT until June 2018, UK V5C logbook, and a few old MoT’s. SOLD.
