The E85 Z4 was the first generation of Z4 designed by Anders Warming which replaced the popular Z3 as BMW’s two seater sports roadster. The ultimate version was the Z4M which was fitted with the legendary S54 straight six BMW Motorsport engine which offered 343BHP @ 7900rpm and powered both the E46 M3 and M3CSL. All Z4M Roadster and Coupe’s were fitted with 6 speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive, creating a sensational drivers car. The right hand drive Z4M Roadsters are the rarest specification of the series with only 921 models constructed.
This Z4M was supplied new on 28th June 2007 by BMW UK. Our car is finished in special order Ruby Black Metallic ‘Individual’ coachwork with special order Champagne ‘Individual’ interior with Piano Black trim. Original options include integrated Satellite Navigation Screen, CD Changer, Bluetooth/Telephone preparation, Multi function M Steering wheel, Xenon headlights, fully electric and heated sports seats, electric convertible roof, air conditioning, alarm and electric windows.
The important running in service was completed by BMW UK at 1155 miles on 17th July 2007. The Z4M was subsequently serviced John Clark BMW Aberdeen from 2008 at 5637 miles until 2011 with mileage at 26022 miles. Serviced afterwards by Knights BMW North Staffordshire and BMW specialist’s thereafter with invoices and supporting service book. The Z4M was sent to BMW tuning specialist Evolve Automotive in February 2017 to have one of their bespoke Carbon Fibre CSL airbox’s fitted at a cost of £2700. The car also had an Alpha N remap by Evolve and the resulting performance and sound are simply magnificent. The Evolve CSL carbon airbox is is a work of art and identical to the factory item fitted to the M3 CSL which undoubtedly creates one of the best sounding sports cars ever, and this car is truly exhilerating to drive.
Serviced just 500 miles ago at 66,584 miles by marque specialists Munich Legends at a cost of over £1000, the rear trailing arm bushes were replaced, a new rear coil spring, new rear tire and full wheel alignment (invoice on file) as well as an oil service and general check over.
Supplied with a fresh MoT, both sets of keys, original owners wallet, service booklet and service invoices, this excellent Z4M Roadster is already a classic, offered in a fabulous colour combination and has been very well looked after throughout its life.
