Registered 5th November 1937 as a ’38 model this 11.50 was originally part of a combination, the sturdy side valve JAP 1150cc engine was more than capable of pulling a sidecar so many 11.50’s were delivered this way.
Having passed through approximately seven owners the bike was laid up in the 1970’s and has been dry stored since then. It retains its original matching number engine as well as many other correct components including its original fuel tank and original registration number. The engine turns freely and has compression and generally the bike is in very good order but obviously a restoration project. With only a few minor parts missing this is a very complete bike which represents and excellent restoration project.
It is supplied with the current UK V5C logbook, and a copy of the Brough Superior factory record card.
