The BSA A65 650cc unit construction engine was first introduced in 1962. With names like Spitfire, Hornet, Lightning, and Firebird the bikes conjured up the imagination of the buying public specifically in the USA where there was a big export drive.
This 1964 example bike has recently been imported from France, and remains in general good cosmetic condition and good working order. Fitted with a steel fuel tank ( not fibreglass ) and showing 9,136 kms it retains many original parts including the Matador switch gear and TLS front brake. A good useable example with some room for improvement this bike is now UK registered and supplied with a V5C logbook.
