A BSA owners club dating certificate shows that this matching numbers 250cc Starfire was dispatched from the factory to its first owner in Sussex, England on the 26th Sept. 1969. It has subsequently been registered as APN 163H here in the UK last year. The previous owner undertook a comprehensive restoration of the bike in 2012, which included a full engine rebuild with new clutch, carb and electronic ignition. The frame and the body work were repainted and it was fitted with new wheels and tires. The gearbox was also overhauled and the bike was completely re wired. Having only covered aprox 400 miles the bike remains in very good order finished in its original colour of ‘Flamboyant Aircraft Blue’.
It is supplied with a large stack of bills relating to the restoration, the UK V5C logbook and an MoT until April 2014.
