  • DESCRIPTION

Declared manufactured 1954 this 350cc Gold Star was despatched in road trim from the factory to dealer Bob Keeler in Wembley London on the 19th Oct. with the registration number 134 EMY. Having been part of a deceased estate it ended up in a rather sorry but totally original state until it was purchased by TV personality and host of the Motorbike Show, Henry Cole. The bike featured in series 8 of the ITV show in which it was comprehensively restored by Sam Lovegrove and master engineer Allen Millyard. These episodes can be seen on catch up on the ITV hub.

The bike remains in absolutely excellent condition and in great running order having had a total engine rebuilt, it is showing 26,227 miles but has only covered 21 miles since the work was competed. Unfortunately the original V5 for the bike was lost and DVLA did not have any record for it and so the original registration number was not able to be reunited with the bike, however it has been reregistered with an age related number 438 XJV and UK V5C.

A superbly presented example with an impeccable rebuild that if fully documented on television, the bike is supplied with a letter of authenticity from HCA Entertainment / Henry Cole and a BSA dating cert.
