  • DESCRIPTION

This UK supplied matching number bike has resided in a private collection for the last 10 years prior to having an engine rebuild, it is understood at this time the clock was zero’d and the bike has subsequently covered 2,729 miles.

In good running order and fine overall condition it has just had a full service in our workshop and is ready to go.

When introduced in 1968 the BSA Rocket / Triumph Trident was dubbed the first ‘Superbike’ and even though it was a big departure for the British  motorcycle industry it was no match for Honda’s mighty CB750 that came in 1969.

As a collectible classic the British ‘triple’ has however gone from strength to strength, the Triumph Hurricane reaching record values that are starting to make its cousin, the equally stylish Rocket 3 look like good value.
