Certainly one of the best unit construction BSA’s and one of the most poplar was the Spitfire although it was only in production for 2 years from 1966 to ’68.
This fine 1967 MKIII was expertly restored by David Jenner of Sports Classic Spares (Kent) in 2008 and has only covered 1509 miles since. A matching number example it remains in excellent condition and is in fine running order. It is supplied with a small history file that contains a spec sheet and receipts for the restoration, a BSA dating certificate and a few old MoT’s.
It is also supplied with a spare steel 5 gallon fuel tank, the fitted fuel tank is also steel.
