Built from 1968 to 1972 the Thunderbolt was supposed to be the ‘Touring’ model in the line up of BSA unit construction 650cc bikes, fitted with a single Amal carburettor it produced 46bhp and a gave a top speed of 104 mph.
This fine example has come from one of the UK’s largest private collections of BSA’s and was restored by the in house mechanic. Having had a complete engine rebuild the bike has only covered test milage and will require further running in. A matching number machine it is supplied with UK road documentation.
