Powered by the famous ‘stovebolt’ 3.9 litre overhead-valve six cylinder engine this Styleline Coupe was prepared for the Peking-Paris rally by Rally Preparation Services Ltd in 2019 but never used for the event.
The then owner owner a veteran Peking-Paris entrant spent in excess of £160,000 to make this car a true contender. Completed to the highest of standards, the rebuild included a complete restoration of the bodyshell; full rebuilds of the engine and gearbox; under-sealing floors and fitting internal sound deadening; complete braking system overhaul, with new master cylinder, linings and drums; and fitting up-rated suspension front and rear. This impressive car remains in excellent all round condition and has only covered some 1373 miles since the restoration, it is ‘on the button’ and ready go for a whole host of events, tours and rallies.
