Registered 15th November 1967, this Daimler V8 saloon was built 27th June ’67 and dispatched to Jaguar / Daimler dealers Henlys (Western) Ltd, their original dealership site located in Hounslow, West London.
A JDHT certificate that is with the car shows that it retains its original engine, and UK registration number. Fitted with a Borg Warner auto gearbox the car has undergone much restoration work in the last few years including the fitting of ‘Coombs’ type Jag MkII rear wheel arches and chrome wire wheels, it has also had a full re spray in gun metal grey.
The dark blue interior is largely original although the carpets have been replaced, the head lining and wood work are both in good order – generally the interior is very nice.
Mechanically the car appears to have been maintained well as it runs and drives great with the power-steering working adequately, although it has only covered some 400 miles in the last 2 years, being dry garaged when not in use.
Overall this is a very fine example with an appealing sporting look, showing 82,640 miles it is supplied with an MoT until June 2017.
