Manufactured 1974 but first registered 25th April 1975 this matching number 750 Sport was imported from Holland to the UK in 2010 and registered as KGV51N 5th April 2011.
The first UK owner started a comprehensive restoration of the bike in 2013 which included an engine and gearbox rebuild by Paul Klatkiewicz of Ducati Technical Services, Wakefield UK. Following the restoration the clocks were zero’d, the current milage is showing as 1,188 miles.
Having had just 3 previous owners the last owner acquired the bike in 2018 but didn’t use it much due to his failing health, the bike remained in dry storage but remains in excellent all round condition. It has just received a check over in our work shop and is in excellent working order.
Born from its racing heritage the ‘round case’ 750 Sport is a direct descent of the Imola winning race bike of 1972 and the green frame 750SS production bikes that came after, the values of which are now almost five times grater in value than that of the 750 Sport, so they are certainly likely to increase in value. This is fine example, both rare and beautiful with a glorious engine note, suppled with a large history file of parts invoices, old MoT’s and the current UK logbook.
