UK registered 7th Dec.1995 this 851 SP3 was imported from Germany and has had only two owners since. No.018 of 500 it is showing just 8,342 Kms, old MoT’s that go back to 1996 show the milage was at 2,288kms when it arrived in the UK.
The previous owner a motor engineer and life long motorcycle enthusiast kept the bike well maintained and only used the bike sparingly. In recent times it has had much maintenance work carried out to keep in truly great order, including a rear suspension overhaul, belts, front fork seals, new master cylinder and fuel lines. In addition the wheels have been recently repainted and fitted with new tyres.
It comes with a small history file of parts bills, the factory hand book, the original tool kit and UK V5C logbook. Certainly one of the finest ‘un molested’ examples available in the UK at this time this is an extremely well preserved, original and well presented bike. The 851 SP3 is generally regarded as one of the best homologation specials that Ducati built.
