Declared manufactured 1998 this genuine 916 SPS was sold new to Germany before being imported to the UK in 2001 and re registered as Y572 GTU.
In 2002 the milage was stated at 1,969 miles as showing on a cam belt service from Baines racing. Having covered some 9500 miles the bike suffered a main bearing failure resulting in a complete engine re build by Corner Speed Ducati in 2017, their invoice for £3,672.42 and a further invoice for £312.01 from Ducati Coventry for a clutch upgrade is included in the history file.
This genuine SPS bearing the number 0936 was sold by us in 2020 prior to having a complete service including the cam belts, fuel tank filters and a new battery. At that time the mileage was 10,280 since then the bike has been stored in a warm environment and has only traveled some 14 miles ! It is supplied with a small history file, the factory hand books and will come with a new MoT.
