The 999 was introduced in 2003 as a replacement for the Massimo Tamburini designed 916/996/998 series of bikes. This new model designed by Pierre Terblanche was not without controversy as the styling met with mixed reaction however despite this the bike became known for its high performance, and fantastic handling as it was very much a ‘track focused’ bike. Production lasted until 2006.
This ‘as new’ example was part of a collection in Italy and had only covered 351 km ( 220 miles ). A stock twin seat Biposto model it has been registered here in the UK and fitted with a new battery. It is in absolutely first class order throughout and is suppled with an MoT until June 2017, the UK V5C logbook and the factory handbook.
