When introduced in 1996 the XL1200 S or Sportster Sport as it was known was the first Harley introduced to the range that had a factory ‘sports’ tweak. The fully adjustable suspension with preload, compression and rebound damping was specifically developed by Showa for the Sportster, in addition the bike had twin front brake discs and a factory fitted single fire ignition system. This fine example was supplied new by Harley main agents Wheels International and has a genuine 11326 miles with a full service history. It has every MoT from new and is supplied with the stamped service manual plus a history file of bills for maintenance. In addition the bike is fitted with a Vance & Hines sports exhaust, re-jet of the standard carb with a free flow air filter (stage 1 kit) and been fitted with twin front AP brake calipers. Overall the condition of the bike excellent and in great running order.
