Supplied new by Black Bear Harley-Davidson and registered 24th April 1999 this 5 speed, belt drive 1200cc Sportster comes with a comprehensive service history that includes a top end engine rebuild with new pistons and valve guides in 2009 at 19,500 miles. Currently showing 26,600 miles it was treated to this Cafe Racer make over by Krazyhorse Customs which included the fine looking alloy fuel tank, seat, rear sets, headlamp and clip on handle bars. It is running the stock Harley-Davidson carb that has been fitted with a Dyno Jet and a free flow air filter and exhaust pipe, to stage 1 tune.
In generally good cosmetic order the bike runs exceptionally well, the riding position is not to extreme and the overall the set up is good. The motor is strong and sounds great but not too loud with this pipe. It is supplied with a few old MoT’s, the factory service book, that has 9 stamps the last in May 2013 and a current MoT until sept. ’14.
A great looking bike that really lends its self to the Cafe Racer style, that sounds and runs beautifully.
