Based on probably the best Harley Sportster model of the last decade the 1200 Sportster Sport this bike was converted to XR type spec using many parts from the famous XR parts specialist Storz Performance Inc. USA.
The stock specification of the 1200S was already impressive as the model was ending production the factory fitted many of the Harley-Davidson ‘Screaming Eagle’ performance parts ; twin plug cylinder heads, single fire ignition as well as the adjustable front suspension and upgraded rear shocks. In addition the bike has a Mikuni flat slide carb and has been converted to chain final drive.
Having only covered aprox 4,000 miles the bike remains in excellent all round condition having been in several collections and unused since the work was carried out. Serviced by us last year the bike is supplied with a new MoT and has just had a new battery fitted. It would be hard to find a good 1200S now to build another example to this spec and certainly the cost would way exceed the current asking price.
