Based on the legendary XR750 race bike the XR1000 Sportster was a factory special that featured a 998cc engine with a mix of 750 and 1000cc iron head components. Built for the 1983 model year only about 1750 were built in a two year period. One of the rarest Harleys you will come across and certainly one of the most fun to ride.
This very original matching number example was imported from the US state of Georgia to the UK in 1990 and has remained in a private collection until now. It is currently undergoing a return to road use in our work shop, is now UK registered and has a recent MoT.
