This MKII was built 26th Feb. 1960 and dispatched to Jaguar Cars, New York 10th March. It was returned to the UK in 1994 where it was subsequently professionally converted to right hand drive. An original 3.8 litre automatic gearbox example it is fitted with power steering that has recently been rebuilt. It has had a colour change to signal red from Sherwood green and now has a blue leather interior.
A well maintained car it is fitted with a high torque starter, an alloy radiator and additional electronic fan. The starts and runs well with no overheating and good oil pressure. There are substantial bills on file for maintenance work over the last 6 years as well as old MoT’s that go back to 2011 when the milage was showing as 1,700 the current milage stands at 2,489.
Generally this is a well presented example that runs and drives well, with a good maintenance history having only has 3 owners since being in the UK. It is suppled with a good history file, a JDHT dating certificate, UK V5C and an original owners handbook.
