  • DESCRIPTION

This original right hand drive matching number 3.8 litre XK150 FHC has been upgraded for historic rally events and competed in many rallies including the Sahara Challenge and the Tour Britannia. Supplied by Twyford Moors ltd in 2015 who did much of the work to prepare the car for the events. This work included an engine rebuilt to fast road spec with electric ignition and upgraded cooling system, five speed gearbox, upgraded suspension and brakes, roll cage, bucket seats and 4 point harness belts. A very detailed list of this work is included in the history file.

Following this the current owner had further refurb work done to the car in 2018 to ensure it was in top condition for road use. It remains in truly fine overall condition both mechanically and cosmetically, the paint work which was originally Cotswod blue, now Jaguar opalescent silver blue is in good order with only a very few very minor marks, the interior which was originally grey was re trimmed to the current beige leather with blue carpets in 2007and remains in good order.

A great driving and well presented classic it would still make a credible candidate for continued classic rallying events or just as a good ‘fast road’ car. It has a nice history file showing continued maintenance with lots of invoices for parts and also has a JDHT heritage certificate.
