Built in the early 1980’s and registered as a Kougar ‘Sports’ 29th Oct. 1981 this MKII Kougar used a Jaguar XJ6 4.2 as the main donor vehicle. Retaining the 4.2 litre engine it runs on triple carbs, with a 4 speed manual with overdrive gearbox.
Thought to have been built at Ashurst Wood Garage, East Grinstead, Sussex, it has had 8 owners in total, the last lady owner purchased the car in 2013 from a well known Bentley restorer and motor engineer who had been maintaining the car in his own collection since 2004.
A well maintained example the car has a good history file with MoT’s that go back to 2003 when the milage was 26,558. It is currently showing 38,447 miles. It is suppled with full wet weather gear – soft top and side screens, tonneau cover, a removable roll bar and a removable luggage rack. In overall good cosmetic order and in good running/ driving condition it is suppled with a new MoT and UK V5C logbook.
