Registered 2nd Jan.1980 this 180° crank Jota was imported and sold through Laverda dealers Morphy Motors of Tring, Herts. A matching number example with just two recorded owners from new it has a good history file that contains many invoices for service work that includes a sheet showing this maintenance from 1982 to 2014.
The body work was repainted a few years ago and is in really excellent condition, the rest of the bike is largely original and as such the frame is showing signs of age but overall the condition of the bike is very good. mechanically the bike starts easily and is in great running order, the speedo has had two changes that are documented and show that the current correct milage is about 53,000.
It is supplied with the original factory handbook and a small box of assorted spares and a letter of authenticity from Staler Laverda. In addition the infamous Jota clutch mechanism has been modified to make it easier on your left hand.
A fine and useable example, the Jota is a classic with attitude, beautiful Italian styling and a glorious engine that sounds as good as it goes.
