This fabulous and very original ‘180°’ crank Jota was imported new to the UK 6th Sept. 1978 and registered 16th Oct. It has had five keepers in total and is showing 31,072 miles which we believe genuine. The bike a great history file and 24 old MoT’s that go back as far as 1983 when the mileage was 10,828. In very fine order and with great mechanics it has been regularly serviced and well looked after the only deviation from factory specification is the fitting of a longer clutch actuator making the clutch lever lighter.
It is supplied with a Slaters dating certificate stating its is a matching number example originally finished in Gold, a rare colour !
This is a superb example with a wonderful patina that sounds and goes great. The 180 Jota had the distinction of being the fastest production motorcycle in the world in the late 1970s, at over 140mph, there was simply no finer Classic muscle bike of this era !
