This genuine Jota was supplied by Trinity Motorcycles of Leicester and registered new in the UK on 1st July 1977. A well maintained bike it has a good history file that shows much maintenance over the years including recent work to the clutch, a powder coated frame and wheels, reconditioned clocks, new tyres and chain. In addition the seat has been refurbished, re-enamelled tank badges, new battery, stainless collector box and new silencers. It is also fitted with Moto Witt DMC/2 ignition and Fontana FAC shocks.
In very fine overall condition it is supplied with letter from Slater Laverda confirming that it is genuine matching number Jota originally finished in Silver.
The first Jota’s were introduced in 1976 making this an early example of the 180° crankpin model, the less restricted UK examples had high lift cams and greater compression making 1000cc triple cylinder DOHC engine really go, the sound of motor alone would make you want one. Still one of the most iconic classic bikes to own and ride this is a very nice example.
