Declared manufactured 1981, this 180° Jota was registered here in the UK 2nd June 1983 and has had 4 owners in total since. Originally green in colour the body work has been recently repainted to the traditional Laverda orange and remains in very good order, the frame and swinging arm still has the original silver paint that is showing signs of age but this is limited to a few small areas and does not distract from the overall good condition of the bike. Fitted with a Boyer electronic ignition it is in excellent running order and appears to have been maintained very well. The history file has many old MoT’s that go back to 1995 when the milage was showing as 11,836 the current milage of 16,500 is believed to be correct. Generally this is a very nice example the 1000cc engine runs very well with lots or power and no smoke and gives off a glorious sound through the original fitment exhausts.
It has an MoT until May 2015 and comes with UK V5C registration document. A very nice example of one of the last series II 180° Jota’s, the quintessential Italian muscle bike that should be on every bikers bucket list.
