The Matchless G15 featured the powerful 750cc Norton Atlas engine and Norton Roadholder forks. The ‘street scrambler’ styling of the CS model aimed directly at the American market meant examples are not often seen here in Europe coupled with the fact that they were only produced for three years makes them a rare bike indeed.
This example built April 1967 was sent to Joe Berlingers Matchless Corp. on the east coast of the USA, and remained there before being imported to the UK in 2000.
Having undergone work to return it to its original spec. the bike has had two owners the last since 2009. Showing 10,943 miles this fine example has recently had a service and is in good running order. A matching number example it is supplied with a dating cert. from the AJS Matchless owners club, UK V5C and copies of the US titles.
A good usable example of a rare classic with the ever popular ‘Street Scrambler’ stying.
