First registered 18th July 1986 in Santa Rosa California this 560 SL remained in the USA until 2019 when it was imported to the UK and re registered. Showing 115,000 miles it has a USA service book fully stamped up to 85,313 miles in 1999 after which the are maintenance service bills in a large file.
The milage on import was 114,432 and since then it appears to have had a further two services. Finished in smoke silver with a black leather interior the car is supplied with its factory hard top and a new black soft top which is in good order. The 560’s big block V8 was only available in left hand drive and most of the production was destined for the US market which was denoted by the quad headlamps and big bumpers.
A fine driving car this is a clean example with no signs of corrosion to the body and very straight body panels. It has a good history file and an MoT until Feb. 2023.
