This beautifully presented PA was imported from Australia to the UK in 2005, the previous owner had acquired the car in the mid 1970‘s during which time he had extensively restored and raced the car in MG Owners Club, Bugatti Owners Club and Midland Automobile Club. It comes with a large history file from that time with many bills for restoration and continued maintenance which included a complete engine rebuild in 1997 with a re-ground crank, Carillo rods with copper bearings and new main bearings and shells. Fitted with a Volumex supercharger and a pre-selector gearbox it also has
SS / Jaguar front brake drums which stop the car adequately as it has reportedly been timed at circa 95 mph !
Having had just one owner since being in the UK the car has continued to be well looked after with recent electrical work and new wheel bearings. The overall the condition of the car is very fine, the paint work and interior in both good order with a really pleasant patina fitting of a pre War sports car. Mechanically the car is excellent, an absolute joy to drive with a glorious exhaust note.
It is supplied with the UK V5C registration document and a large history file of papers, a really great vintage sports car.
