Introduced in 1976 and named after the 24hr motorcycle endurance race at Le Mans France it featured an air-cooled 850cc 90 degree V twin engine developed from the earlier 750S model.
With a café racer stying, clip-on handlebars and a bikini fairing it was instant hit and later become one of the most iconic Moto Guzzi’s ever produced.
This early example was imported from Italy in 2016 where it had previously been registered. It comes with an Italian FIM historical certificate and an original owners handbook. Having been restored in the UK, further work was carried out by a previous owner in 2024 / 2025. Showing just 229 miles it remains in excellent condition all round and in great running order.
