Norton factory records show that this is a genuine 750 S Commando built 17th Jan. 1970 and sent new to Norton distributor Europacar in the British Channel Islands. We are not sure how long the bike remained there, it was re registered here in the UK mainland June 2016.
A matching number bike it seems to have undergone some restoration work, the body work has recently been repainted and the bike has received a full recent service in our own workshop.
In generally good cosmetic order and in excellent running condition this is a fine useable example of quite a rare model 750cc Commando. The S model styling was clearly aimed at the American market of the time, however this ‘street scrambler’ look has seen a massive resurgence in recent times, so this is a great opportunity to purchase an original example of very stylish and great condition Commando. It is supplied with a copy of the Norton works record, UK V5C logbook, MoT until April 2017 and an owners handbook.
