The rarest of all the Norton Commando’s is undoubtedly the 750 SS or ‘street scrambler’ built from 1970 to 1971, the styling aimed directly at the US export market meant that virtually the entire production ended up in America, which is where this example was imported from in 2010. Having been comprehensively restored in 2011 and re registered here in the UK the bike has covered just 51 miles. Finished in the original colour of yellow it remains in absolutely first class condition. A genuine and matching number 750 SS built 26th July 1971 and shipped to Norton agents Berlinger in the USA it is supplied with a dating cert. from the Norton owners club UK and a letter confirming it as a genuine example. MoT’d until June 2015 this is not only a great looking bike it is highly collectable and hardly ever seen this side of the Atlantic.
