Introduced in 1999 the 996 Turbo was the first water cooled turbo charged road car built by Porsche, it was in fact a twin turbo model, the 3.6-litre flat-6 engine was derived from the 1998 Le Mans winning 911 GT1 race car and produced a healthy 414bhp giving the car a 4.4 sec 0-60 and 185mph top speed. All wheel drive and a 6 speed manual or 5 speed Tiptronic gearbox were also featured.
This very fine example from 2001 has had just 3 owners in total and covered 49,938 miles. It comes with a full service history the last service performed in March 2022, at that time the car was also polished with quartz ceramic coating. Finished in Lapis blue with a grey leather interior it has the Tiptronic gearbox.
Supplied with all the factory hand books, two keys, bills for services and old MoT’s it has a current MoT until March 2025. An extremely well looked after car the interior is in very fine order and the body work hardly has a mark on it. Without doubt these cars are an appreciating classic and surely the next Porsche Turbo to really go up in value, although not exactly rare fine low milage un molested examples are beginning to get harder to find. This is a great example that needs nothing and is ready to go.
