This immaculate Shadow II finished in Willow Gold has an amazing and rare original dark brown velvet interior. Specifically ordered by its first owner from Jack Barclay’s in Oxford the car was trimmed with a ‘Tan Parkertex Savoy Velvet’ interior and registered 6th Sept. 1977. The first owner moved to Jersey in the Channel Islands in the early 1980’s and the car resided there until 2014 when it was returned to the UK mainland by its second owner. The factory service book that accompanies the car confirms that the current mileage of just 28,235 is correct. Having been maintained by an in house mechanic the car has seen little use in the last few years and has been part of a small Rolls Royce / Bentley collection in South East England, always garaged in remains in absolutely first class order both mechanically and cosmetically and has an MoT until March 2017.
It is supplied with a large history file that has correspondence from the Rolls Royce factory, copies of the build sheet, service invoices and the current UK V5C logbook.
A beautifully presented ‘museum’ quality example this highly elegant Rolls Royce can be one of just a handful in this colour/ interior combination, together with the exceptionally low mileage make this a real connoisseurs choice.
