  • DESCRIPTION

Imported form the USA and re registered here in the UK in 2012 this matching number MK1A Interceptor was partially restored, including an engine rebuild at that time. Supplied with a dating certificate from the Royal Enfield Owners Club it states the date of manufacture as 21st June 1967. A very clean and tidy example the frame has been repainted as well as the fuel tank and fork legs, all the chrome work including the exhaust and wheel rims are in good order and the bike is fitted with a new seat. Mechanically the bike is excellent, the engine runs well, no smoke no noise. Anyone fortunate enough to have ridden an Interceptor will know that the performance from the 750cc motor is far greater than any of the British twin’s built of the same era. A superb and rare alternative British classic, this is a fine example ready to go.
