  • DESCRIPTION

Built from a 1959 wideline frame with a ’56 Triumph 5T ‘big crank’ bottom end, 9 stud Bonneville head fed through 32mm Amal concentric carbs and all converted to 750cc with a Morgo kit. The bike is also fitted with a slick shift gearbox, Norton (short) Roadholder forks and a Commando front brake and Akront alloy rims front and rear.  Restored in 1997 the bike had a major overhaul, the front end was completely rebuild as was the top end of the motor, a new clutch fitted and the mag rebuilt. This fine looking bike has a particularly nice long range ‘Manx’ type alloy fuel tank hand has recently been fitted with a handsome set of Smiths chronometric clocks. It comes with a file of bills for the restoration work and a copy of Classic Bike from 1999 in which the bike features in an article about Tritons. In generally good order it is a nice clean example that runs very well.
