Records show that this ’66 Thunderbird was first registered to Hertfordshire Police having been dispatched from the factory to dealers Moors, Hemel Hempstead 19th March 1966. A previous owner who purchased the bike in 2003 completed a comprehensive rebuild of the engine earlier this year and the bike has only covered a few miles since, as such it will require running in. A matching number number bike it is supplied with the details of this engine work and an MoT until Jan. 2015. Currently showing 10,800 miles the bike remains in good overall condition, the paint is a little worn / faded but the bike is not showing any signs of corrosion, the seat has recently been replaced and the bike now has electronic ignition.
A generally nice example in excellent running order, it has a small history file of bills plus the UK V5C. The registration number PAR25D is transferable and is included in the sale.
