This matching numbers 1971 240Z was imported from California in February 2014 and subject to a complete and thorough restoration. The body was stripped down and found to be in generally good rust free solid condition, any repairs were made with fabricated metal and the car was given a complete respray including the underneath, care was taken to preserve as many of the original parts as necessary. The 2.4 litre straight six cylinder engine, suspension and running gear were all rebuilt and re assembled. Some three thousand hours were spent restoring this car to the show condition which it is in now. This work was carried out by a 240Z expert with meticulous detail and as such this could be the finest example currently on offer. Since the work was completed the car has only covered shake down test milage, showing 4,931 miles the remains in absolutely fabulous condition and is supplied with photographic record of this work, the original owners handbook, UK V5C logbook and MoT.
