This Ducati 900SS was first registered 1st March 1978 and has been part of a well known Ducati collection since 2013. Currently showing 34,039 miles the bike appears to have been laid up in 1994 after which it received aprox £1,600 recommissioning in 2014 by GCS Motorcycle Services, at this time the mileage was 33,301. With four former keepers we believe the current milage to be genuine and is supported by eleven old MoT’s dating back to 1983.
Having received a fresh MoT and check over in our own workshop the bike is in fine running order. A largely unrestored, original and unmolested example it is fitted with a rare aluminium ‘ Imola’ fuel tank and is sitting on an original set of Borrani wheels. Overall the cosmetic condition is good, the bike is not corroded but there are some chips on the frame, body work and tank that have been touched in by hand. The original Conti exhausts are in good condition. Generally this is a nice example that sounds and runs very well. It is supplied with a few old invoices, the old MoT’s, a new MoT until June 2017 and a V5C logbook.
